The present research thesis entitled “COMPARATIVE EVALUATION OF GEOTECHNICAL PARAMETERS IN SATURATED SOFT CLAYS THROUGH ELECTRO-OSMOTIC STABILIZATION, APV SUCSO AUCAYLLE PICOL, SAN JERÓNIMO, CUSCO 2019“, aims to know the variations of the soft clay parameters application of an electric flow and its geotechnical implications in parameters such as plasticity, humidity, resistance to shear (friction angle) and cohesion present in the PAV Sucso Aucaylle Picol, of the district of San Jerónimo, province and region of Cusco present a composite structure by phyllosilicates that make it a complex material in geotechnics. A total of 16 samples have been extracted, of which 15 are for comparison, one for granulometry, the clays are CL typology according to SUCS, each of these samples has been tested for: granulometry, plasticity, humidity and direct cutting in order to obtain the natural geotechnical parameters of the clays, then each of them has been applied the electro-osmotic process to record the variation in these geotechnical parameters. An improvement has been achieved in geotechnical parameters such as plasticity that has registered a maximum decrease of 2.38%, humidity that has registered a maximum decrease of 1.06%, shear resistance that has registered a maximum increase of 2.15 °, cohesion which has registered a maximum decrease of 0.13 kg / cm2 and the application of this method in the field has been compared with the shaping of sidewalks using equipment and personnel. The electro-osmotic method has an average acquisition and implementation time of 13.5 hours less compared to the mechanical stabilization of bank shaping, average is 40 hours on a slope.
