The objective of this work was to find the prevalence of enteroparasites in patients treated at the Loreto Regional Hospital “Felipe Santiago Arriola Iglesias“ from July to December 2022. The study was cross-sectional, prospective and descriptive. This population included a total of 1204 stool collections, to perform direct stool examination. The instrument to collect the data was the test sheets with the results and the technique used was data collection. The results found in our study, according to sex, were that 45% (546) were male and 55% (658) were female. 13% (152) correspond to the group of “0 - 5 years“, 7% (79) correspond to the group of “6 - 10 years“, 8% (98) correspond to the group of “11 - 18 years“ , 21% (251) correspond to the group of “19 - 29 years“, 39% (466) correspond to the group of “30 - 59 years“ and 13% (158) correspond to the group of “over 60 years ”. In our study, a prevalence was found, according to the genus and species with the highest prevalence, it was that 7% (79) corresponds to the Blastocystis hominis cyst, 5% (57) corresponds to Entamoeba coli cyst, 4% (45) corresponds to Ascaris lumbricoides eggs.
