Objective: It was to determine the comparative relationship between the risk factors correlated to the transmission of Malaria in the endemic area of the I-2 Zungarococha San Juan Bautista health post during the months of January to December 2021. Method: A descriptive analytical-correlational study was carried out because the independent variable is not manipulated since the data from the medical records with a total of 1402 patients were reviewed, the biological and laboratory variables of each one were reviewed and they were contrasted with the results. thick blood film for identification of malaria and its relationship with platelet count and sex at the I-2 Zungarococha San Juan Bautista health post during the months of January to December 2021 Results: It was possible to find that the prevalence of malaria of 6%, in addition, the highest prevalence by age was 33% from 18 to 30 years, in addition to the gender of the patients with the highest number of positive cases is the male sex with 69% and a total of positive patients 91 (100%), it is evident that of the most frequent species was the presence of plasmodium vivax with a percentage of 87%. in the patients of the I-2 Zungarococha San Juan Bautista health post during the months of January to December 2021. Conclusions: It is concluded that it can be affirmed with 99% confidence that there is a significant relationship between the results of the thick blood film for malaria and the platelet count and also the Pearson rho coefficient is -0.681, which indicates that the relationship between the variables is indirect and its high degree of the patients of the I-2 Zungarococha San Juan Bautista health post during the months of January to December 2021.
