The present investigation was developed with the purpose of addressing the problems of expansion and urban development presented in Nueva Cajamarca city; with its rapid housing growth due to the migrations that are generated by the constant and abundant economic movement. Likewise, with the intention of mitigating these problems, it is intended to project, based on concepts of sustainable architecture, planned urban expansion, chrono-urbanism and ecosystemic urbanism, a sustainable urban development in the Galindona Sector of the city of Nueva Cajamarca, which can respond to the basic needs for an optimal quality of urban life for the residents of the area. Similar cases were analyzed, as well as research related to the subject, in order to have a complete picture of what should be considered when prioritizing urban life, the user and the pedestrian when developing a sustainable city that is friendly with its urban spaces and mixed-use areas in a community. It is thus that, with the present investigation, it is intended to achieve a sustainable urban empowerment in the Galindona Sector, which improves the quality of urban life of its residents, which helps to control the uncontrolled expansion in the city, as well as to establish a precedent of what that sustainable and user-friendly cities in our country can and should be.
