The present study was oriented to solve the following problem: What is the frequency of Leptospirosis, in patients who attend Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud from January to September 2022?. The objective of the research was: To determine the frequency of leptospirosis in patients who attend Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud from January to September 2022. Materials and methods: This is a quantitative, observational, descriptive and cross-sectional study. We worked with the epidemiological records of 1346 patients who attended Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud from January to September 2022. For the analysis of the information, the SPSS V.24 statistical package was used. Results: It is observed that of 1346 patients who underwent the test for leptospirosis, in the period January to September 2022 at Hospital III ESSALUD Iquitos: 319 (23.70%) were positive; 881 (65.45%) were negative and 146 (10.85%) indeterminate. Of the positive cases 134 (42%) of cases of male patients and 185 (58%) of female patients. The district that presented the largest number of cases was Punchana with 486 cases and the one that presented the least was Belen with 109 cases. Conclusions: The review made it possible to determine which are the districts where the highest frequency of cases of insured patients occurs, in Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud from January to September 2022, which was the district of Punchana with 319 cases and that the female sex was the which presented more frequently with 185 cases. The age group where it occurred more frequently was from 18 to 31 years.
