The present study was aimed at solving the following research problem: What is the seroprevalence of Syphilis in donor applicants of the Hemotherapy Center and Type II Blood Bank of Hospital III Iquitos Essalud from January to December 2021?. The objective of the Research was: To determine the Seroprevalence of Syphilis in applicants to donors of the Hemotherapy Center and Type II Blood Bank of Hospital III Iquitos Essalud from January to December 2021. Material and methods: This research is descriptive, with a nonexperimental, retrospective design. We worked with a sample of 2630 applicants who attended for blood donors. The statistical package of SPSS V.25 was used for the analysis of information Results: The seroprevalence of Treponema pallidum in applicants for blood donors who attend Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud - 2021 was 3.38%; According to sex, male 46 (59.74%) and female 31 (40.26%); According to age, the most frequent range was from 36 to 45 years with 32 (41.56%), according to origin it was urban with 41 (53.25%). Conclusions: Treponema pallidum in blood banks continues to be a risk factor in recipients, it is important to identify and reject donors with risk factors that may be in window periods and reinforce prevention and control programs for this disease..
