In Peru, the construction sector is one of the most important factors that drive development, the execution of works helps to improve the quality of life of the population and contributes at the same time to the sustainability of the environment. In this sense, the construction sector has generated high competitiveness in terms of cost, time and quality, analyzing the factors that contribute to improving the processes and strategies applicable to this field; however, there have been constant breaches due mainly to cost overruns and delays caused by inadequate management during the pre-investment phase, preparation of the technical file and subsequent execution. The causes of these cost overruns lie in changes in the scope of the project, delays in the execution stage, erroneous estimates and adjustments of costs, and the inexistence of management processes. Although it is true today, many professionals working in the construction sector know project management tools, but they do not apply them as they consider it not a priority, in addition to not being aware that not having a good work management process means losing money. El presente proyecto de investigación, tiene como objetivo determinar la influencia de la aplicación de las herramientas de gestión de proyectos basados en el Lean Construction en el rendimiento de la mano de obra durante la etapa de eejcución de una edificación optimizando las actividades que agregan valor al proyecto constructivo y reduciendo o eliminando las que no lo hacen.
