This research aimed to determine the level of depressive symptomatology in primary-level students of the I.E.P.M. 60026 “Ruy Guzman Hidalgo“ of the Belen district developed in Iquitos in 2020, with a sample of 123 primarylevel students between 9 and 11 years; the methodology was quantitative, non-experimental, cross-cutting design, as it seeks to determine depressive symptomatology and the sample is not manipulated; The instrument used was Kovacs CDI Depression Inventory, in the results obtained it is evident that the largest group of students evaluated is at the age of 10 with 34.14%, being the male sex with the highest percentage of participants with a 58.54%, it was determined that there are depressive symptoms in students at a moderate level with 54.48% and is the male sex with 56.94% in conjunction with the 11-year-old group with 65.0% more frequently at this level; With regard to depressive symptomatology in students according to the size of Dysphoria is at a low level with 55.28% and is the female sex with 68.63% in conjunction with the 9-year group with 73.17% more frequently at this level; With regard to depressive symptomatology in students according to the dimension of Self-Disregard, it is at a moderate level with 58.54% and is the male with 63.88% and the age group of 10 years with 76.19% more frequently.
