The impact on flow of river freight transport caused by migration of Amazon River in Iquitos Port Terminal sector has been evaluated. For this, the LANDSAT multitemporal imaging technique, bathymetry and sectioning of Itaya River with ADCP were used. The Amazon River has moved 5,288 m between 1985 and 2000 and has a net migration of 5,997 m to date with a speed of 166 m/year. It was found that Itaya River currently covers the course left by Amazon River forming a water spurt, the flow of the Itaya River represents 0.5% of the Amazon River, therefore, the difference in the water straps between both rivers is very significant, causing difficulties in the flow of ships that embark and disembark in Iquitos city, the evaluations indicate that, while the process of migration from the Amazon continues to East, more difficult it will be flow of heavy transport to our TPI through the low water depth of Itaya River, which leads to more frequent dredging, increasing the cost of living in Loreto. The critical section in the Itaya River from the TPI to the confluence with the Amazon is 2,250 m
