Peru, in recent years has presented various problems due to the lack of rainwater evacuation, this is associated with population growth, since the urbanized area, as its size increases, produces a need for increasingly better infrastructures and fundamentally with pavements to good traffic. At present, innovative constructions are needed to reduce the problems caused by heavy rainfall or the deficit that exists in water catchment. The purpose of this research was to determine a type of permeable concrete, capable of infiltrating rainwater and diverting it to natural or artificial drains and solving the problem of watering in rainy areas and with flat topography, it also seeks to determine whether by carrying out a correct design of Permeable Concrete mix that meets adequate mechanical properties can be used as a rolling layer in rigid pavements, and thus have an optimal drainage system in the streets of the district of La Banda de Shilcayo. The intense rainfall that has occurred in recent years in the district of La Banda de Shilcayo and a drainage system in very poor condition, causes an increase in the flow of water that, in addition to saturating the storm sewers, converts the streets of our district in real rivers. Preventing rainwater from accumulating in large quantities on the tread layer of rigid pavements is possible, making use of a layer made of Permeable Concrete. Its general objective was to improve the storm drainage system of the streets of the district of La Banda de Shilcayo, province and department of San Martín, through the proposal of permeable concrete design, allowing the draining concrete to perform without any inconvenience to pavements and storm drainage systems. The following conclusions were reached: It was evidenced that the mixture with 15% voids had the highest resistance, and the mixture with 25% voids had the least resistance, having a difference of 24.93 kg / cm2 between the two. While the mixture with Optimum design of 24% voids obtained a resistance of 210.15 kg / cm2, a value very close to the design resistance. vi In the permeability test, for the design of an optimal mixture of 24% voids, practically uniform results are obtained, in addition, the average permeability coefficient was determined at 0.457 cm / s, which is within the range of permeable concrete that is between 0.2 to 0.54 cm / s.
