The main objective of this research is the recovery or reuse of inorganic materials such as plastic bottles, PVC tubes and aluminum cans for use in stabilizing or improving soils. In such a way, its methodology manages to belong to a preexperimental design, of an experimental type; as it is used to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the results. Experimental because the practice of test and retest in order to obtain new solutions, possibilities and elements that can be applied to certain solutions. The designs of typical rural pavement structures, both with a natural sandy soil and with stabilized soil, were related using the NAASRA (National Association of Australian State Road Authorities) method. The research concludes that there is technical and economic feasibility for the construction of pavements or soil improvements using cellular confinement with recycled materials such as plastic bottles, PVC tubes and aluminum cans; and thus determining its high durability, its degradation time for stabilization in the soil, this research is determined by compaction methods created and supported by the thesis students.
