The present investigation carried out by the thesis students was to create a prototype of a light dynamics penetration hammer on a scale, thereby promoting another compaction methodology, and to validate this methodology and its procedure, the correlation with the field density test (Cone of Sand - NTP 339.143 (ASTM D1556)), in such a way that densifications of the soils of the entire field investigation area are obtained. With this new innovative equipment it is intended to compare results with the equipment that is usually handled for these density and compaction tests, in such a way that the use of this prototype is standardized for other projects that require its use. With the new prototype called Mini Light Dynamics Penetration Hammer, it is intended to measure the percentages of compaction of soils using the correlation with field density tests, which will help to calibrate the Mini Light Dynamics Penetration Hammer equipment in such a way. so that once calibrated it will be ready for use at the points where the tests are carried out, these tests have with it the speed of the tests. The results of the tests with the prototype equipment is viable, valid and efficient to be used in the field of work, in turn it can also give us the condition of the soil in a practical way. The handling of the equipment is practical, manageable, transportable and efficient since the design is light.
