The objective of this research is to design reinforced concrete pilasters for soil stabilization in tropical areas of the building ex Hotel Turista de Iquitos 2020. The research is experimental because it presents a practical and economic alternative in relation to soil stabilization for deep foundations of buildings of considerable height (4 levels or more) in the ExHotel de Turistas de Iquitos with the technique of reinforced concrete pilasters. Before applying the technique, we verified that it was necessary to use deep foundations (use of piles), even more so knowing that the infrastructure would have a basement or semi-basement; and adding the considerable weight of the superstructure, it was evident that the use of piles would be needed to increase the bearing capacity of the foundation soil to cement the 5-story building. The results show that the deep foundation technique solved the problem encountered with respect to vibration and instability of neighboring foundations when driving previously used steel piles. In addition, the distribution of pilasters allowed a correct distribution of loads from the structure to the ground.
