transversal, prospectivo, no Experimental.
The main objective of this research is the prevalence of irregular antibodies in Hospital III Iquitos Essalud in the period 2016-2017. The research responds to the epidemiological type of basic level, of the descriptive, transversal, prospective, nonExperimental type. The population is made up of all the transfusion applications of the Blood Bank service of Hospital III Iquitos Essalud 2016-2017, which consisted of 960 patients of both sexes, where the study sample is the entire population. The results of this descriptive analysis in the search for incompatible compatibility tests, age, blood group, most used Hemocomponents and the sex of the patients were analyzed through the statistical package for social science research SPSS v22.0, obtaining: that compatibility tests compatible with 98.3% and Compatibility Tests incompatible with 1.6%. The hospital service with the highest number of blood components was requested by the Medical Service with 35.1%. The female sex was the most predominant with 51% and the male sex 49%. The age group of 61-70 years had the highest percentage 23% and Newborn was 2.5%. The distribution of the blood groups was: group O 84%, A 11%, B 5%, AB 1% and Rh Positive Factor 99%, Rh Negative Factor 1%, and through the non-parametric Ji-Square test it is concluded that There is a significant relationship between the evidence of compatibility with age, use of blood components and the sex of patients.
