Relación del sobrepeso y obesidad con las características de las gestantes atendidas en el C.S. I-3 Cardozo - Belén, 2020

Abstract

Objetivo: Determinar la relación del sobrepeso, obesidad y las características de las gestantes atendidas en la IPRESS I-3 Cardozo, Belén -2020. Metodología: Estudio descriptivo, transversal, correlacional y retrospectivo, se evaluó una muestra de 208 gestantes de enero a diciembre 2020. La técnica utilizada análisis documental de las historias clínicas. El instrumento utilizado el cuestionario. Incluía información de las características sociodemográficas, obstétricas, y el IMC: peso, talla. Resultados: En las características sociodemográficas se encontró el 56,3%, entre 19 a 29 años, ocupación ama de casa 92,3%, estado civil conviviente 71,6% y grado de instrucción secundaria 89,9%. Caracteristicas obstétricas: 41% de gestantes entre 27 a 42 semanas, paridad 31,7% son segundigestas. Conclusiones: Existe relación significativa entre la edad, ocupación con el sobrepeso y obesidad, (p=0.0000, p=0.003 respectivamente). En las características obstétricas existe correlación significativa (p=0.009) entre edad gestacional y la paridad (p=0,043), con el sobrepeso y obesidad. Porcentaje de sobrepeso 39,4% y obesidad 29,8%.

Objective: To determine the relationship of overweight, obesity and the characteristics of pregnant women attended at the IPRESS I-3 Cardozo, Belén -2020. Methodology: Descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational and retrospective study, a sample of 208 pregnant women was evaluated from January to December 2020. The technique used documentary analysis of medical records. The instrument used the questionnaire. It included information on sociodemographic and obstetric characteristics, and BMI: weight, height. Results: In the sociodemographic characteristics, 56.3% were found, between 19 to 29 years old, housewife occupation 92.3%, cohabiting marital status 71.6% and grade of secondary education 89.9%. Obstetric characteristics: 41% of pregnant women between 27 to 42 weeks, parity 31.7% are second pregnant. Conclusions: There is a significant relationship between age, occupation with overweight and obesity, (p = 0.0000, p = 0.003 respectively). In the obstetric characteristics, there is a significant correlation (p = 0.009) between gestational age and parity (p = 0.043), with overweight and obesity. Percentage of overweight 39.4% and obesity 29.8%.
