The objective that we have raised in our investigation was “To identify if the deficiencies of the Administrative Procedure of Adoption, violate the best interests of the child, in the Office of Adoptions of Loreto - Iquitos, in the year 2019“. The present investigation is of the Explanatory type because it worked with two variables, a first that is independent and that is constituted because of the second that is called dependent variable. The design corresponded to a non-experimental, cross-sectional investigation that generates a cause - effect relationship. The population consisted of 16 lawyers and / or specialists on the issue of adoptions. The sample consisted of 100% of the population. The technique used in data collection was the interview and the instrument was the Interview Guide. The general results allowed determining that the deficiencies in the administrative procedure of adoptions, referred to lack of speed, lack of simplicity and lack of incentives to facilitate the work of the adopters, often if they violate the best interests of the child, who is affected in its three dimensions as a right, as a guiding principle of the administrative procedure of adoptions and the right of the child or adolescent to live with a family, as a component of their best interests.
