The present study was aimed at solving the following research problem: What is the frequency of the high-risk Human Papilloma Virus in insured women from Gynecology clinics that attend the Laboratory of Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud 2019 - 2020? Determine the frequency of the high-risk Human Papillomavirus in insured women from gynecology clinics that attend Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud 2019 - 2020. Material and methods: This research is quantitative and retrospective, with a non-experimental, descriptive design. We worked with 105 insured women from gynecology offices who were tested for the detection of Human Papilloma Virus at Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud 2019- 2020. Results: After the quantification of positive high-risk Human Papilloma Virus DNA who attended Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud 2019 - 2020, 26 (24.76%) were patients with positive high-risk Human Papilloma Virus, the age range with the highest frequency was 31 at 40 years with 12 positive cases (11.43%), the origin was with 15 (14.29%) in urban areas and less frequently in rural areas with 02 (1.90%), marital status with 12 (11.43%) in married women. Conclusions: Molecular tests are useful in the diagnosis of Uterine Cervical Cancer, the information of the Human Papilloma Virus together with the doctor's evaluation of the patient's medical history, other risk factors and professional guidelines, can be used to guide the management of the patient.
