Cervical cancer is a public health problem and remains the leading cause of cancer death in Peruvian women, and with a very high incidence in the Loreto region. Cervix cytology is the screening test that must ensure an adequate quality standard to maintain the sensitivity and specificity of this test. Objective: To identify the post-analytical quality of cervical cytology in Maynas health facilities in March 2019, through the interpretation of the results of the cytological test Materials and Methods: A type of observational research was carried out with a descriptive and cross-sectional design, taking as a sample size 270 results from the health facilities Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud, Loreto Regional Hospital and the Amazon Rainforest Clinic. A data sheet was used, validated by 03 anatomo-pathologists, whose data were evaluated in the statistical package SPSS 25.0, applying the Pearson Correlation. Results: The origin of the health facilities was associated with each of the variables, finding that the clinical information, the Time of the Process, the result report and the use of the computer system ARE STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT. While the Identification / Labeling and the File Archive are NOT STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT. By correlating the origin of health facilities with post-analytical quality, a significance of less than 0.01% is obtained, therefore it is STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT. Conclusion: The evaluation of health facilities had an adequate and optimal result in most of the variables evaluated.
