Main objective: To determine and compare the surface microhardness of 3M Bulk and SonicFill Kerr resins and its relationship with photopolymerization through the straight collimator of the LED lamp, invitro study 2022. Materials and methods: The present investigation is experimental, of a prospective- transversal line of quantitative approach. We had a sample of 80 specimens distributed in two groups which had a division of 40 specimens for the 3M Bulk resin and 40 specimens for the SonicFill Kerr resin which were photopolymerized in times of 10, 15, 20 seconds at a power of 1400mw/ cm2 and 5 seconds at a power of 2300 mw/cm2, both with a straight collimator led lamp; then we subjected the specimens to the Brinell hardness test in order to find the surface microhardness. Results: We observe that the SonicFill Kerr resin presents 38.8% within the resistance between 18.1Kg/f and 19.0 Kg/f and only 1.3% between 14.1 and 15.0, we also observe that the 3M Bulkresin presents a 30.0% inside the resistance between 17.1 Kg/f and 18.0 Kg/f and only 1.3% between 14.1 Kg/f and 15.0 Kg/f We also observe that the SonicFill Kerr resin presents 38.8% within the resistance between 18.1 Kg/f and 19.0 Kg/f and the 3M Bulk resin presents 30.0% within the resistance between 17.1 Kg/f and 18.0, showing greater resistance to the latter forces. In addition, we observed that the surface microhardness of the 3M Bulk and SonicFill Kerr resins and their relationship with the photopolymerization through the straight collimator of the LED lamp study, shows a significance level of 754, thus showing us a positive relationship. Conclusions: The SonicFill Kerr resin presented 38.8% within the resistance between 18.1Kg/f and 19.0Kg/f, while the 3M Bulk resin presented 30.0% within the resistance between 17.1Kg/f and 18.0Kg/f. It gives us to understand that the SonicFill resin presents a better performance against the resistance. In addition, we conclude that the surface microhardness of the 3M Bulk and SonicFill Kerr resins and its relationship with the photopolymerization through the straight collimator of the LED lamp study shows a significance level of .754, thus showing us a positive relationship.
