The study area is densely traveled by vehicles and pedestrians, this area has tourist attractions, commercial, residential and entertainment venues, the sidewalks have reduced widths. Therefore, a pedestrian infrastructure is required that provides a good quality of service mainly to the most vulnerable pedestrians (elderly, children, etc.). This thesis was developed using the methodology of the Highway Capacity Manual 2010 and 2016 and the methodology extracted from the traffic engineering book by Rafael Cal y Mayor, R., & James, Cárdenas G., to analyze the level of pedestrian service in urban segments. and signalized intersections according to dimensional characteristics and traffic volume. The current research has a quantitative approach, a descriptive scope, a non-experimental design and a hypothetical-deductive method. This research used instruments such as: surveys, cards for pedestrian and vehicle counting, cards for the entry of input elements in urban segments, cards to record point speeds, video recordings, cell phone applications, AutoCAD, odometer, etc. Developed the work, it was concluded that the pedestrian crossings of the signalized intersections have a level of pedestrian service “A“, “B“ and “C“, this means that the intersections provide a service of moderate quality although there are difficulties for pedestrians with reduced mobility (PRM), the urban segments have pedestrian service level “D“, “E“ and “F“, because they have an extremely reduced sidewalk width mainly due to the presence of fixed objects, the 85th percentile vehicular speed is effectively less than the maximum speed limit of the study area (30 km/h), the vehicular movement time is directly proportional to the length of the urban segment and in all the urban segments of the study area the percentage of pedestrians older than 65 years does not exceed 20% of all pedestrians.
