The objective of the research was to evaluate and quantify the generation of organic household solid waste generated in the town of Nina Rumi, derived as a result of anthropogenic activity in the community. The method used was the evaluative method, based on the systematic collection of numerical data, which made it possible to perform the analysis using simple statistical procedures. The design was nonparametric, a given situation was studied without introducing any element that varies the behavior of the variables under study. The size of the sample was of 58 houses distributed in (5) zones, and within them it was taken at random and seeking not to repeat 11 houses per zone. The results obtained show us that the organic material represents 73% of the total Solid Waste generated, in relation to the inorganic ones that represent 27%, with a generation per capita of 120.18 Tn / year, enough material for the community to be able to generate its transformation and that the generation of solid waste within the populated center is no longer a problem, but an opportunity to develop inclusive businesses in its transformation to compost and subsequent use in productive agricultural activities.
