This research, titled “Ela weave as a catalyst in the transmission of knowledge in Urarina women of the Nueva Union community, 2021”, it was developed in the community of Nueva Union, Urarinas district, Loreto Nauta province, Loreto department, Peru. Its main objective is to determine how ela weave is a catalyst in the transmission of knowledge in Urarinas women; allowing to identify oral traditions within their worldview and learning and teaching spaces. This study enrolls of the descriptive qualitative methodology, with an ethnographic design. Field techniques such as semistructured interviews and participant observation were applied. For the study, the population was 275 people, grouped into 70 families. The results of the research made it possible to reaffirm the importance of weave for the Urarinas culture, behaving as the catalyst that stimulates the transmission of knowledge, strengthens identity and perpetuates tradition in the Urarinas people.
