Thinking about implementing information technologies to improve business performance has always meant going through experiences that are measurable only after their implementation and based on the positive or negative impact they have had on business results. Organizations when implementing technology to improve their business management face various problems because regulations focus only on the technical approach, leaving aside other important elements such as alignment with business strategy, recognition of current problems, design organization, processes, information systems and data, exhausting valuable resources, time and money in projects that failed to meet their efficiency and control objectives. This paper proposes a six-step methodology so that any initiative for technological implementation of an organization is based on a review of the business strategy, is aligned with the goals and objectives of the company, recognizes the weaknesses and opportunities of technological investment and from this perspective, a systems, data and technology architecture is proposed that considers those innovation elements necessary to improve business management. The work is of a theoretical-practical nature and seeks to establish a model applied to a real case of implementation of this methodology in a renowned Peruvian industrial manufacturing company such as KURESA, describing how the six stages were implemented and how, based on them, various strategies were proposed to integrate technologies to make their management more efficient, as well as the practice of it as an improvement exercise within its annual planning will use a gear with business performance.
