Introduction: The thesis is the document in which the scientific results reached by theapplicant in his research work are exposed. The quality of a study reflects the excellenceof its elaboration, the indicators of scientific quality are based on subjective opinions ofexperts, but of great importance.Objective:To determine the thesis quality of the graduates of the Professional Schoolof Human Medicine of the Universidad Andina Del Cusco.Material and methods:Observational, descriptive, retrospective and cross-sectionalstudy. The population and sample of the present study will be conformed by the total oftheses (61) of the graduates of the Professional School of HumanMedicine of theAndean University of Cusco,A data collection form was taken, obtained from the technical form validated by theUniversidad Andina del Cusco issued under Resolution No. 135-CU-2015-UAC in theVice-Rectorate for Research. The database was prepared in the Excel version 2013program, the processing and analysis of data will be carried out, with the help of theWindows SPSS version 25 computer system, and the TURNITIN program. Results:The thesis quality of 100% of graduates of the Professional School of HumanMedicine of the Universidad Andina del Cusco is 83.6% Acceptable, not acceptable16.4%, evidencing that no thesis reaches a level of Excellence in quality.The Index of Final Similarity of the theses evaluated (48 theses) has an average of35.6%; being the minimum with 20% similarity and the maximum with 63% of finalsimilarity, the fashion of the theses was 23.0% of final similarity. 13 theses were notaccepted by the repository.The most frequent type of study is the descriptive one (57.4%), followed by the analyticaltype with 37.7%, the experimental type 3.3% and finally only 1.6% is of the Correlationaltype.37.7% of the theses correspond to the area of Medicine, 17 (27.9%) correspond to thearea ofGynecology, 2 (3.3%), 11 (18.0%)to the area ofpediatrics, 7 (11.5%) to the areaof surgery and only 3 (4.9%) correspond to the area ofPublic Health. Conclusions:According to the evaluation of the methodological design, no thesis haspassed a score higher than 95, indicative ofexcellent quality. The greatest predispositionto perform the theses was in the area of medicine, thus having a third of all graduates.More than half of the graduates of the Professional School of Human Medicine chose toperform descriptive theses. Themean of the theses is 35.6% similarity, being theminimum with 20% similarity and the maximum with 63% of final similarity, the fashionof the theses was 23.0% of final similarity. 14.8% of theses have a high level of similaritybetween 50-74%.
