Calidad de tesis de los egresados de la escuela Profesional de Medicina Humana de la Universidad Andina del Cusco.

Abstract

Introducción:La tesis es el documento en el que se exponen losresultados científicosalcanzados por el aspirante en su trabajo de investigación.La calidad de un estudiorefleja la excelencia de su elaboración, los indicadores de la calidad científica sonbasados en opiniones subjetivas de expertos, pero de gran importancia.Objetivo:Determinar la calidad de tesis de los egresados de la Escuela Profesional deMedicina Humana de la Universidad Andina Del Cusco.Material y métodos: Estudio observacional, descriptivo, retrospectivo y de cortetransversal. La población ymuestra del presente estudio estará conformada por el totalde tesis (61) de los egresados de la Escuela Profesional de Medicina Humana de laUniversidad Andina del Cusco,Se tomó una ficha de recolección de datos, obtenido de la ficha técnica validada por laUniversidad Andina del Cusco emitido bajo Resolución N°135-CU-2015-UAC enVicerrectorado de Investigación. La base de datos se confeccionó en el programa Excelversión 2013, se realizará el procesamiento y los análisis de datos, con la ayuda delsistema informático Windows SPSS versión 25y el programa TURNITIN. Resultados:Lacalidad de tesis del 100% de egresados de la Escuela Profesional deMedicina Humana de la Universidad Andina del Cuscoconsta de un83.6% Aceptable,no aceptable 16.4%, evidenciándoseasíque ninguna tesis llega a un nivel de Excelenciaen calidad.El índice de Similitud Final de las tesis evaluadas (48 tesis) tiene una media de 35.6%;siendo el mínimo con 20% de similitud y el máximo con 63% de similitud final, la modade las tesis fue de 23.0% de similitud final. 13 tesis no fueron aceptadas por elrepositorio.El tipo deestudio más frecuente es el descriptivo (57.4%), seguido del tipo analítico conun 37.7%, los de tipo experimental 3.3% y finalmente sólo un 1.6% es de tipoCorrelacional. El 37.7% de tesis corresponden al área de Medicina, 17 (27.9%)corresponden al áreade Ginecología, 2 (3.3%), 11 (18.0%) al área de pediatría, 7(11.5%) al área de cirugía y sólo3(4.9%) corresponden al área de Salud Pública. Conclusiones:Según la evaluación del diseño metodológico ninguna tesis ha superadoun puntaje mayor de 95, indicativo de excelente calidad. La mayor predisposición arealizar las tesis fue en el área de medicina, teniendo así a una tercera parte de todoslos egresados.Más de la mitad de egresados de la Escuela profesional de medicinaHumana optaron por realizar tesis de tipo descriptivo. La media de las tesis es de 35.6%de Similitud, siendo el mínimo con 20% de similitud y el máximo con 63% de similitudfinal, la modade las tesis fue de 23.0% de similitud final. El 14.8% de tesis tienen unnivel de similitud elevadoentre50-74%.

Introduction: The thesis is the document in which the scientific results reached by theapplicant in his research work are exposed. The quality of a study reflects the excellenceof its elaboration, the indicators of scientific quality are based on subjective opinions ofexperts, but of great importance.Objective:To determine the thesis quality of the graduates of the Professional Schoolof Human Medicine of the Universidad Andina Del Cusco.Material and methods:Observational, descriptive, retrospective and cross-sectionalstudy. The database was prepared in the Excel version 2013program, the processing and analysis of data will be carried out, with the help of theWindows SPSS version 25 computer system, and the TURNITIN program. Results:The thesis quality of 100% of graduates of the Professional School of HumanMedicine of the Universidad Andina del Cusco is 83.6% Acceptable, not acceptable16.4%, evidencing that no thesis reaches a level of Excellence in quality.The Index of Final Similarity of the theses evaluated (48 theses) has an average of35.6%; being the minimum with 20% similarity and the maximum with 63% of finalsimilarity, the fashion of the theses was 23.0% of final similarity. 13 theses were notaccepted by the repository.The most frequent type of study is the descriptive one (57.4%), followed by the analyticaltype with 37.7%, the experimental type 3.3% and finally only 1.6% is of the Correlationaltype.37.7% of the theses correspond to the area of Medicine, 17 (27.9%) correspond to thearea ofGynecology, 2 (3.3%), 11 (18.0%)to the area ofpediatrics, 7 (11.5%) to the areaof surgery and only 3 (4.9%) correspond to the area ofPublic Health. Conclusions:According to the evaluation of the methodological design, no thesis haspassed a score higher than 95, indicative ofexcellent quality. The greatest predispositionto perform the theses was in the area of medicine, thus having a third of all graduates.More than half of the graduates of the Professional School of Human Medicine chose toperform descriptive theses. Themean of the theses is 35.6% similarity, being theminimum with 20% similarity and the maximum with 63% of final similarity, the fashionof the theses was 23.0% of final similarity. 14.8% of theses have a high level of similaritybetween 50-74%.
