The objective of this research work is the technological advance that has introduced innovative tools in the educational field, creating opportunities and challenges. The transformation redefines how educators transmit knowledge and how students interact and assimilate mathematical information, marking a significant impact in the educational field. In this context, the present research entitled "Use of ICT and learning in mathematics in second-year high school students of I.E. José Carlos Mariátegui CPM of Libertad Llata-Huamalíes-Huánuco", aims to: Identify the relationship between the use of ICT and the learning process of mathematics in second-year high school students of I.E. José Carlos Mariátegui CPM of Libertad Llata-Huamalíes- Huánuco The methodological approach is basic, with a non-experimental quantitative and descriptive correlational design. The sample includes 32 second-grade students. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires. The main finding reveals a significant correlation (p < 0.05) between student learning and the use of ICT, being positive and moderate (r = 0.438). No statistical correlation was found between teaching methodology, student motivation, self-control of learning and the use of ICT in terms of its dimensions. However, a significant and strong correlation (p > 0.05; r = 0.600) stands out between collaborative work and the use of ICT. In conclusion, second year high school students at the I.E. José Carlos Mariátegui CPM of Libertad LlataHuamalíes who actively use ICT experience improvements in the process of learning mathematics.
