The objective of this research work was to establish the relationship that exists between theatrical pedagogy and meaningful learning in students of the Academic Department of Artistic Education, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, of the National University of Education. The research methodology was applied, the approach was quantitative and the design used was non-experimental, cross-correlational. A sample of 60 students belonging to the aforementioned institution was obtained; The information collection technique was the survey, which is why two instruments were applied: the first was questionnaire No. 1, which measured the level of theater pedagogy, and the second was questionnaire No. 2, which measured the level of significant learning. The reliability test was carried out through Cronbach's Alpha, the normality test was carried out through the Kolmogorov - Smirnov test and the inferential analysis was carried out through Spearman's correlation coefficient. This research concluded by indicating that there is a significant relationship between theatrical pedagogy and significant learning in students of the Academic Department of Artistic Education, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, of the National University of Education.
