The objective of this research work is the present final thesis report focuses on the referred study on The affective filter in how the development of the English language is promoted focused on productivity in students of the first years of the UNE EGyV. The purpose of the research was to evaluate the causal incidence between the affective filter and the development of skills in production. The research considers the hypothetical deductive method, where methods were used to achieve knowledge based on deduction and induction to establish the hypothesis, of a basic type, of design with an explanatory scope of correlational - causal cross-sectional design, in which the causes and effects of the variables studied were explained, with a study sample that consisted of 110 students from the first cycle of Dalex Une. To collect the information, a questionnaire and an English test were developed, which, before their application to the sample, were validated by expert judgment and, at the same time, their reliability was measured, for which the Cronbach Alpha test was used. The survey technique was used to apply the instruments and collect data. The results obtained showed that the findings of this research confirm that the affective filter has a notable impact when the student produces orally and in writing. Kendall's correlation analysis showed a statistically significant causal relationship between the affective filter and productive skills in English (Kendall's W coefficient = 0.165, p < 0.001), highlighting the connection between the emotional aspect (affective filter) and the cognitive aspect (productive skills).
