The objective of this research work is to determine the relationship between the cognitive skills variable with communication learning and its four dimensions: communicates orally in their mother tongue, reads various types of written texts, writes various types of texts and creates projects from artistic languages in five-year-old children from the Alfred Nobel educational institution during the year 2023. The study used a quantitative approach with a non-experimental cross-sectional correlational design, which implies that there is no interference in the process. The research sample was 92 5-year-old students. Two observation form instruments were used to collect data and both variables were evaluated using the Likert scale. The validity of the instruments was carried out by the opinions of three experts. On the other hand, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to evaluate their reliability; the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to check if the data fit the normal distribution and Spearman's Rho coefficient for the statistical study. Likewise, the SPSS statistical computer software was used. The findings indicate a positive association between cognitive skills and communication learning in five-year-old infants.
