The objective of this research work is that the advice that addresses complementary feeding plays an important role in the progress and development of the infant, especially in the first months of life. In the district of Lurigancho, aspects such as the level of knowledge and the level of satisfaction of the caregiver mothers about the instruction received have an impact on the level of nutrition of their children. Objective: The relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of satisfaction of nutritional counseling on complementary feeding in mothers of children 6 to 8 months, Lurigancho, 2024, was determined. Methodology: Basic, quantitative, cross-sectional, ex post facto, non-experimental research applied to a sample made up of 100 mothers of children from 6 to 8 months. Results: The sample consisted mostly of mothers between 27 and 49 years old (58%), with a technical educational level (32%), housewife (53%), cohabiting (71%), with more than one child (51%) and attended at the Nicolás de Piérola health center (36%). 42% of the mothers had a regular level of knowledge, and 51% had a regular level of satisfaction. The variables level of knowledge and level of satisfaction presented a high significant association (p <0.001). Conclusion: It was determined that there is an association between the level of knowledge and the level of satisfaction of nutritional counseling on complementary feeding.
