The objective of the research was to demonstrate the effect of the "Talking while playing" program in preventing functional dyslalia in 4-year-old students of the I.E. 104 - UGEL 03, Lima 2023. Methodologically, it corresponds to a quantitative approach, experimental type, quasi-experimental design research. The population and sample consisted of 20 children (10 in the experimental group and 10 in the control group), to whom the Melgar test was applied as an instrument, which has 19 phonemes (14 consonants, 2 blends, and 3 diphthongs). The reliability of the instrument was high, both in the pre-test and in the post-test (0.810-0.809). The application of the instrument was carried out in two times, one before and one after (pre-test and post-test). Where the experimental group (GE) received the "Talking while playing" program based on playful activities, songs, stories through different sessions. As a result, a significance level of 0.024 < 0.05 was found, which proved that the program has a significant impact on the prevention of functional dyslalia in four-year-old children.
