Abstract: Del siguiente estudio su finalidad fue “Determinar la frecuencia del riesgo de caídas en adultos
mayores de un centro integral del adulto mayor, Ancash-2024”.
Material y método: utilizó como instrumento la “Escala de Tinetti” para medir el riesgo de caídas
en adultos mayores del CIAM. La muestra estuvo conformada por 80 adultos mayores, método
deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, aplicado, no experimental, observacional y corte transversal
El análisis de la información se realizó con el SPSS 0.27
Resultados: La edad más predominante de los adultos mayores fueron de 60 a 70 años representado
con el 45% del total. En cuanto al género masculino representada por el 52,5%, y el femenino fue
de 47,5%. Es relevante destacar que el riesgo de caídas es alto con el 57,5%, moderado el 32,5% y
por último no tienen riesgo de caídas el 10%.
Conclusión: La frecuencia del riesgo de caídas de los adultos mayores es de 57,5%.
