Pregnant women still tend to associate pregnancy with excessive care without performing any physical activity that involves effort for fear of losing the product, without taking into account that with knowledge and adequate practice in a healthy pregnancy, performing this type of activity can provide various benefits for both the mother and the fetus. The objective of the study was to determine the level of knowledge and practice about physical activity that women treated in a private clinic had during their pregnancy, through a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, simple correlative investigation; with a sample of 70 pregnant women, who also met selection criteria, to whom, after informed consent, a 12-question questionnaire was applied, validated by experts and measured in its reliability (Cronbach's alpha of 0.794). The results showed that the pregnant women had a high knowledge of the topic; However, the majority presented moderate or insufficient physical activity; concluding that the majority of women know the subject; However, the performance presented in its gestational stage was limited.
