Abstract: El estudio realizado tuvo como finalidad principal determinar la relación entre adicción a redes sociales e impulsividad en estudiantes de una Universidad Privada de Lima, 2022; mediante enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental de corte transversal y nivel correlacional, participando 170 estudiantes a quienes se les administró el Cuestionario breve de adicción a redes sociales y el cuestionario de impulsividad, identificando como resultado que existe relación significativa entre la adicción a redes sociales e impulsividad (rho = .631); además se encontró relación positiva significativa entre adicción a redes sociales y las dimensiones cognitiva (rho = .618), motora (rho = .378) y no planificada (rho = .618). Se concluye que la adicción a redes sociales se relaciona de manera directa con la impulsividad.
The main purpose of the study carried out was to determine the relationship between addiction to social networks and impulsivity in students of a private university in Lima, 2022; through a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design of a cross cut and a relational level, with the participation of 170 students who were administered the Brief Questionnaire on addiction to social networks and the impulsivity questionnaire, identifying as a result that there is a significant relationship between addiction to social networks and impulsivity (rho = .631); In addition, a significant relationship was found between addiction to social networks and the cognitive (rho = .618), motor (rho = .378) and unplanned (rho = .618) dimensions. It is concluded that addiction to social networks is directly related to impulsivity
