The Soil contamination caused by anthropogenic activities, resulting in increased concentrations of total metals, as in the case of cadmium, is being used for soil remediation. Therefore, the objective of this research was to analyze the potential of Lupinus Mutabilis Sweet (Tarwi) to mitigate cadmium contamination in agricultural soils in the Puente Piedra district. The research was of an application type, a quantitative approach was employed. in addition, the design was experimental taking into account 4 treatments, in each treatment had a different concentration; T0 (0 mg of CdSO4/l) that one worked like control treatment, T1 (25 mg of CdSO4/l), T2 (45 mg of CdSO4/l) and T3 (65 mg of CdSO4/l). The final concentrations of cadmium in the soil were identified after 18 days of treatment: T1 (19.71 mg/kg), T2 (39.18 mg/kg) and T3 (58.67 mg/kg), these results represent For T1 22% cadmium removal, for T2 14% removal and for T3 10% removal. it was concluded that higher concentrations of cadmium in the soil produce lower removal percentages produced by the species Lupinus Mutabilis Sweet (Tarwi). The significant physical changes in stem, root and leaves produced after 18 days of initiation of the absorption process were determined by the T STUDENT test, taking as a criterion that if the results of the P-value are less than 0.05 it would indicate the significant existence of physical changes and if the results are greater than 0.05 it would indicate that there are no significant changes. In them it was possible to show for the leaves that the sig. (bilateral) of paired samples (Par 1 T0-T1) whose value is sig. is 0.03 and (Pair 3 T0-T3) whose value sig.es 0.09, you have values less than 0.05 unlike (Pair 2 T0-T2) whose value is 0.624, has a value greater than 0.05. Similarly for stems it is evidenced that sig. (bilateral) in all paired samples as (Par 1 T0-T1) whose value is sig. is 0.03, (Pair 2 T0-T2) whose value is sig. is 0.01 y (Pair 3 T0-T3) whose value sig.es 0.01, has values less than 0.05. Finally, for the root, it is evidenced that the sig. (bilateral) in all paired samples as (Par 1 T0-T1) whose value is sig. is 0.02, (Pair 2 T0-T2) whose value is sig. is 0.01 y (Pair 3 T0-T3) whose value sig.es 0.01, has values less than 0.05. to the conclusion that regarding the change in the physical characteristics in stem and root if there are significant changes in all your treatments except in the leaves where in T1 and T2 if there are significant changes and in T3 there are no significant changes.
