The main objective of this research is to carry out a technical comparison of concrete bricks with steel shavings and recycled concrete compared to conventional concrete bricks both in piles and in units, the applied methodology will be descriptive - comparative and the research was of an experimental design. The operationalization of variables table was used, having as an independent variable the "concrete bricks and recycled steel shavings" and as a dependent or response variable the "mechanical properties" that through a technical sheet will determine the characteristics and / or properties physical-mechanical structure and composition of the final product. The sample to be analyzed is 9 conventional concrete bricks, 9 conventional concrete piles and 27 recycled concrete and steel shavings and 27 recycled concrete and steel shavings in its composition. To decide what type of brick should be used in the construction of a concrete brick wall, it was hypothesized that there is a significant effect on the increase in compressive strength of some treatment compared to the conventional one, either in units or piles. To prove this, the one-factor ANOVA analysis test and Tukey's test were applied, which serves to study whether the variability of a variable is due to a factor under study or not, resulting in a significance level of 5%, that if there is a significant increase in the resistance to compression of the bricks in stacks or units when applying the treatment with a 10% concentration of steel chips and recycled concrete.
