The experimental study was carried out, with the objective of determining the analysis of drinking water using a pine sapwood filter to improve its microbiological properties in the drinking water supply of C.P. Huranhuacta, Llacanora District, Cajamarca Province 2019. For this, a filter was made with 1 ”branches of pine xylem anchored by a clamp to a tank. In the drinking water conduction line of a house in the town center, the filter was installed to perform the 4 samples, of which 2 were with the filter and 2 without the filter, the samples were analyzed in the Cajamarca Regional Water Laboratory. The results obtained indicate a water consumption below the recommended quality parameters, an average of Total Coliform Bacteria of 34.5 NMP / 100mL, Escherichia Coli 9.1 NMP / 100mL, Thermotolerant Coliform Bacteria 9.1 NMP / 100mL and heterotrophic bacteria 745 CFU / mL. Regarding the effect of the microbiological properties of the water by using the filter, an average of 6.55 NMP / 100mL Total Coliform Bacteria, 1.1 NMP / 100mL Escherichia Coli, 1.1 NMP / 100mL, Thermotolerant Coliform Bacteria and 180.5 CFU / mL heterotrophic bacteria were obtained. From the hypothesis test, this is accepted since there is a significant difference improving the water microbiological properties through the use of a pine sapwood filter and in the current drinking water supply with a reduction in heterotrophic bacteria 564.5 CFU / ml, 27.95 NMP / 100mL points in Total Coliform Bacteria, 8.00 NMP / 100mL for Escherichia Coli and 8.00 NMP / 100mL points Thermotolerant Coliform Bacteria.
