The impact of sleep quality in people with obesity is demonstrated with changes in the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal, lower concentrations of leptin and higher concentrations of ghrelin, resulting in high food intake and weight gain. Nutritional status can be measured through body mass index, known as a first-line screening biomarker for the evaluation of nutritional status. Therefore, the objective of the research was to determine the relationship between sleep quality and nutritional status in workers of a private institution, Cercado de Lima 2023. The methodology used was a non-experimental design, descriptive correlational type, quantitative approach, cross section; the Pittsburgh Index was applied to measure sleep quality; and a form for collecting weight and height to calculate body mass index. As part of the results, Rho-Spearman of -0,015 and a p-value of 0,863 were obtained between sleep quality and nutritional status. In conclusion, no significant link was found between both variables in the workers of a private institution, 2023.
