The present investigation entitled "Continuous improvement and loss of asparagus in the production area of an agro-industrial company, Trujillo 2023", had as its main objective to determine if continuous improvement reduces the loss of asparagus in the production area of an agro-industrial company, Trujillo 2023. The study has an Applied type investigation, Explanatory level, Experimental design and Inductive-Deductive method. The techniques used were Documentary Analysis, Survey and Observation, while the instruments used were the production process shrinkage record sheet to determine the amount of shrinkage existing before and after the improvement, the Questionnaire that was developed by the operators to prioritize the causes that originate loss and the Observation Guide to verify compliance with the continuous improvement plan in each of its dimensions (plan, do, verify and act). As a result, it is found that the company before the Continuous Improvement implemented had a 6.171% loss, 21 main causes of waste were identified represented in an Ishikawa Diagram, of which 4 were used to carry out Continuous Improvement. In addition, Continuous Improvements were implemented and after that a loss of 2,799% was obtained, which meant a reduction of losses of 3,372%. It was concluded that Continuous Improvement significantly reduces the loss of asparagus in the production area of an agro-industrial company, Trujillo 2023 through a comparative table and the T-Student Statistical Test.
