The main objective of this study was to determine the relationship between the main factors which influences the Intention to Use/Buy (IU) of the online education services of superior education students from the city of Trujillo, La Libertad – Perú, according to the main factors of the UTAUT2 Model (Performance expectancy; Effort expectancy; Social influence; Facilitating conditions; Hedonic motivation; Price/Value; and Habit). This investigation was developed with a quantitative methodological approach, and with a non-experimental design; a cross-sectional and an explicative scope. After applying the investigation instrument, it was identified the Significance (Bilateral) value of all core constructs or factors was 0.000. Being lower than α (p<0,05), these factors are considered as Significant for this research. A sample of 200 students, users of superior education institutions, with an adapted instrument from the research made by Quicaño, C. A. (2019), based upon the Unified Theory of Acceptance, and Use of Technology, (Venkatesh, Thong, & Xu, 2012) also known as UTAUT2. Spearman's correlation coefficient was 0.647; which indicates that there is a significant, positive, direct relationship with a high correlation strength between the Intention to Use/Buy (IU) and the factors corresponding to the UTAUT2 Model. The research was partially carried out during the confinement period caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in Peru.
