The objective of this study was to establish the correlation between anxiety levels and quality of life among caregivers of patients with cognitive impairment at a psychological center in Lima during 2022. The study utilized a qualitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. Moreover, the sample comprised of 160 caregivers of patients with cognitive impairment from a psychological center in Lima. That is, the higher the anxiety level, the greater the level of overload experienced. Furthermore, the survey utilized Zarit's Caregiver Overload Scale and Zung's Self-Assessment Anxiety Scale as instrumentation. The results indicate a correlation of .001 (p<0.05), demonstrating a highly significant relationship between both variables. That is, the higher the anxiety level, the greater the level of overload experienced. That is, the higher the anxiety level, the greater the level of overload experienced. Finally, regarding the quality of life variable and anxiety level dimensions, which include somatic and affective symptoms, there is a significance of .001 (p<0.05). Therefore, it confirms a highly significant association between each dimension of quality of life and anxiety level.
