Given the vertiginous growth of information, that generate changes and constant progress in organizations, it is imperative that those who manage them handle communication tools that provide guarantee of effective communication within it, so the research aims to design a proposal of Neurolinguistic Programming strategies, to optimize the internal communication processes of the Academic Directorate of a private university in the city of Cajamarca. A non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive/propositive investigation was implemented, supported by a documentary and field investigation, selecting as sample eighteen directors and/or career coordinators of the aforementioned management, to whom a survey was applied, using two questionnaires designed for the present investigation, in order to determine the level of communication and management of the basic aspects and of the NLP tools, as well as the aspects, principles or tools best known or best managed by said directors or coordinators and to be able to specify which should be incorporated into the proposal would be designed to meet the overall objective. The results show that the communication processes in that academic direction are at a "high" level (89%), followed by the "medium" level (11%); in terms of the level of knowledge and management of NLP tools, the level is "high" (67%), followed by the "medium" level (33%); the principles and tools less known or managed and therefore incorporated into the proposal were "mind map"; "NLP model", "calibration", "congruence", "anchoring" and "matching".
