Objective: “To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about immunizations and compliance with the vaccination schedule in Venezuelan mothers, of children under 5 years of age, at the “Manuel Barreto” Maternal and Child Center - Lima – 2024.” The research method was hypothetical - deductive, with a quantitative and applied approach, non experimental design, cross-sectional and correlational level. The population was 180 mothers, with a sample of 122 participants. Instrument: To evaluate knowledge about immunizations, a self-created questionnaire was used, validated through a pilot test with 30 Venezuelan mothers, obtaining a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.794. To evaluate compliance with the vaccination schedule, a checklist was used that did not require reliability testing due to its nature. Data collection was carried out through surveys and data analysis was carried out with SPSS version 25. Qualitative variables were analyzed with frequencies and Chi-Square, Mann-Whitney and Spearman correlation tests were used for the hypotheses. Results: It was found that compliance with the vaccination schedule in Venezuelan mothers had a positive correlation with the level of knowledge about immunizations (Rho=0.41; p < 0.001). Likewise, this positive relationship was found with the level of knowledge about vaccine administration (Rho = 0.521; p < 0.001) and the level of general knowledge (Rho = 0.183; p = 0.043). Conclusions: There is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge about immunizations and compliance with the vaccination schedule in children under 5 years of age.
