The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the feasibility of implementing a plant to produce energy bars based on Quinoa and Chia. The product will be called "Mixbar", which will be presented in CPP packs of 41.5 grams, 12-pack boxes and master boxes of 12 boxes. Mixbar is a mixture of nuts that give it a high protein value with high content of essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals, rich in antioxidants and essential amino acids that the body cannot synthesize by itself. The market segment targeted by the project is the population of socioeconomic levels A, B and C of Metropolitan Lima, for people between the ages of 13 and 55. The product is targeted as a single channel at a price of S/. 2.60, marketed as a food with high nutritional content and quick consumption. The location of the plant was established using the factor ranking method. Accordingly, the province of Huancayo, Junín, was selected as the optimum location for the plant, taking raw material availability as an important factor. The area to be built is 418.1 square meters to cover a demand in the fifth year of 1,104,738 units of energy bars. The project is technically feasible because there are no limiting factors for its implementation, and it will have an installed capacity of 3,854,336 energy bars per year, which in turn is the production capacity of the baking process. The estimated investment is S/ 1,567,225.89 with an own contribution of 50% and financing of the remaining 50%. On this basis, the corresponding evaluations were performed, obtaining an economic NPV of S/ 375,089.98 and a financial NPV of S/ 535,781.09. The analysis of this indicator and others, such as the economic and financial IRR of 20.8% and 29.4%, respectively, confirm that the project is economically and financially viable.
