The textile industry is one of the most polluting industries in the world. One of the solutions to mitigate environmental impacts is the selection of sustainable fibers for textile production. The present research aims to demonstrate the market, technical, economic, social, financial and environmental feasibility for the installation of a plant for the production of printed polo shirts based on hemp fiber fabric. This sustainable fiber of vegetable origin contributes to the environment, since it only requires a third of the water use compared to cotton, it is biodegradable, does not need fertilizers or pesticides, its roots help to balance the soil without wearing them out, it is resistant to ultraviolet rays, flexible, antibacterial, among other properties compared to other natural fibers. The target market for this research is people included in Socioeconomic Levels A and B. The consumer is between 18 and 39 years old, can be male or female, young, studying at university or learning independently, professionals working for various companies in different fields or working independently with an average income of the Peruvian population. The product will be offered online with a home delivery method. The garment manufacturing plant will be in Surco, and the following equipment will be needed for the project: overlocking machine, coating machine, industrial textile cutter, DTG textile printer, and transfer plate. The project will promote the growth of the local economy, generating employment and a change in consumer thinking and behavior, making them more responsible and involving them in the recycling of garments and raising awareness of a more responsible fashion industry. According to the economic and financial cash flow with a COK of 15,03% and a CPPC of 9,86%, a positive economic NPV of 2 109 191, a financial NPV of 3 288 890, an economic IRR of 32,28% and a financial IRR of 53,59% higher than the OER of 9,17%, respectively, were determined.
