At present, we have different means that serve as protection from UV rays, with the aim of preventing serious skin lesions, the spread of melanoma and the appearance of cancer cells in the human body. The objective of this paper is to propose the design of an effective product with the function of preventing and caring for the skin, prioritizing the premise of supporting the feasibility and viability of the manufacturing process and market introduction of a sunscreen, whose main ingredient is sunscreen. carrot seed oil. This project observes one pre-operational year (2022) and five operational years (2023 to 2027). The location of the factory is in the district of Lurín, the variables of productive resources, market size, technology and break-even point are evaluated to determine the size of the plant. Likewise, the production capacity of the plant (164 714 units) is analyzed and the processes and resources necessary for manufacturing are defined, in addition to explaining the process to safeguard the quality of the product. Further on, the required investment is determined, which amounts to 423 421,57 soles, the operating costs and expenses are presented; income and expense budget, income statements and financial situation. Also, the project's financial evaluation indicators are established, such as NPV (S/197 363,30) and IRRF (42,93%), using a COK of 25,32% as the discount factor. Finally, a social evaluation of the project is carried out where the zones and communities of influence, and the added value of the project is calculated: 1 635 142,98 soles.
