The trend towards the consumption of alcoholic beverages is constantly growing in the country, this is an opportunity to generate Peruvian industries in this area. Pisco is a Peruvian flag product and is part of a Peruvian national identity whose denomination of origin Pisco is valued worldwide and authorized by the Peruvian state for its use, however, other countries in the region such as Chile produce and consume more the Pisco, on the other hand, there is no great local offer of pisco-based alcoholic beverages and chilcano is a pisco-based drink that is prepared in a homemade way and that has become popular with a young audience. With which it has been decided to carry out an investigation to validate the feasibility of developing a processing plant for an alcoholic beverage based on pisco and natural fruits ready to drink. In the last 5 years, the national production of pisco increased in volume from 7,1 million liters in 2013 to 10,9 million liters in 2017. The company that leads production in this sector is the company Bodegas y viñedos Tabernero SAC, this company has considerably increased its production volume in the last 5 years and has a 26% market share. The plant will be located in the industrial zone of Lurín in order to reduce operating costs by being close to the raw material and to the market. The product is described as an alcoholic drink based on Pisco mixed with passion fruit, aguaymanto and cocona fruits; plus Ginger, sugar and carbonated water; packaged in 275 mL bottles, and will be aimed at people between 18 and 38 years old from the NSE A and B of Metropolitan Lima. This will be packed in corrugated cardboard boxes of two Six Packs of 6 bottles each, and will be sold in supermarkets, taps and discos. The introductory price will be S / 8,0 (includes VAT) and sales will be boosted through advertising, in an attractive packaging and with a high-quality product. The total investment for the project is S / 403,868, which is divided into tangible and intangible fixed assets, and working capital. In addition, taking into account the evaluation period of five years, an Internal Rate of Financial Return of 32,5% was obtained, a Net Present Value of S / 125.431, a Benefit-Cost Ratio of 1.52 and a Recovery Period of the 4,1 year investment.
