In recent years, the population increase has occurred worldwide and the Latin American countries are the ones that have had an ascending rate of population growth. This growth has generated an increase in annual garbage, and, finally, it also increases plastic waste that has a higher degree of contamination. Peru consumes 30 kg of plastics per person per year that will appear approximately 3 billion tons per year, which is harmful to the environment that causes overflow in landfills, because the recycling of plastics in Peru is only 10 to 15% of all Residual plastic demand. It will reduce the existence of a potential market in metropolitan Lima with a demand of 1 955 140,87 gal of Fuel Oil for the year 2025. The plant will be located in San Juan de Lurigancho, located in the department of Lima, which will have a capacity of 1 971 433,72 gal by the year 2025. This location was chosen, since it is the district where there is a greater amount of residual plastics. Regarding the technology and machinery to be used, it has been determined that there are no limitations. In addition, the relevant technical standards and the HACCP system have been considered to maintain excellent quality and safety in the product. This project requires an investment of S/ 9 590 478,66 with a COK of 25,74%. Through an economic and financial evaluation, a financial NPV of S/9 226 227,28 and a financial IRR of 61% were obtained, recovering the investment in 2,47 years, which determines the economic viability of the project.
