Currently in Peru, there is a trend towards a healthy lifestyle, which combines good nutrition with regular participation in some form of sports or physical activities. This trend allows for the formulation, through a feasibility study, of the production of a healthy ice cream made from whey, blackberries, and almonds, without the addition of sugars, to meet the demand of customers who are following this growing consumption trend. This product combines great taste with the added value of being nutritious. While there are currently companies selling ice cream, they do not focus on providing a healthy option. Additionally, although there are other snack options based on whey, such as energy drinks and bars, none of these brands offer healthy proposals in the form of individual ice cream servings. The project aims to establish an industrial plant in the constitutional province of Callao, with an estimated timeline of 5 years, starting from 2023. Due to its technological capacity, it is expected that, according to the production plan, the plant will produce a total of 1 702 125 units of ice cream containers in a 170 milliliter presentation in its last year of operation. The combined organizational structure and the proposed technology in the feasibility study allow for the achievement of production and sales objectives, making the investment project profitable. Finally, the most important financial indicators (NPV and IRR) were evaluated, and they yielded positive and promising results, giving the approval for investment in the project proposed by the feasibility study.
