The following research aims to determine the relationship between stress and parental behaviors of parents of children with suspected Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD) in Lima. Being one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders in childhood, it affects various areas of the child's life, including impacting the relationship with parents, which generates high levels of stress and has an effect on their behavior. This research was carried out with a sample of 153 parents of children with suspected ADHD between 6 and 12 years of age. Two instruments were used for this research: Parental Behavior Scale (Manrique, Van Leuween and Guesquiere, 2015) and Parental Stress Questionnaire (Sanchez-Griñan, 2015), this time applied online. The result of the relationship between parental stress and parental behaviors shows a qualitative association between the variables. In addition, it was found that there is an inverse relationship between parental stress and the rules dimension, since the higher the parental stress, the parents tend to apply fewer rules. Also, it was found that there are statistically significant inverse relationships between parental stress and the rules dimension. Finally, an inverse relationship was found between the rules dimension and the dimensions of difficult children, discipline with difficult children and parental discomfort; and punishment with dysfunctional interaction.
