Abstract: En el presente proyecto se realizó un estudio de pre factibilidad para la instalación de una
planta productora de arroz instantáneo para microondas. El objetivo general es determinar
la viabilidad de mercado, técnica, social y económica del proyecto.
Este tema surge a partir de la creciente falta de tiempo que presentan las personas
en el día a día y la importancia de la alimentación saludable. Además, el arroz juega un
papel protagónico en la gastronomía peruana, presente en muchos platos típicos.
Este producto está dirigido a personas que vivan en Lima Metropolitana, que
consuman arroz de manera regular y que estén dispuestas a consumir comida instantánea.
Se trata de arroz precocido, el cual se introduce al microondas en un plato junto con agua
por 3 minutos y se obtiene la porción de arroz. El sabor elegido es arroz con choclo y la
presentación es individual (125 gramos).
La planta se localizará en el distrito de Puente Piedra, en el norte de Lima. Esta
contará con una capacidad de producción máxima anual de 509,27 toneladas y un área de
600 metros cuadrados.
El proceso de producción incluye actividades como el pesado, tamizado, lavado,
centrifugado, mezclado, precocido, deshidratado, enfriado, embolsado y encajado.
La inversión requerida es de S/2 611 529. La composición del financiamiento se
compone en un 60% de capital propio y 40% de financiamiento externo. Se obtiene un
finalmente un Valor Actual Neto Económico de S/700 030 y un Financiero de S/842 147.
Además, se espera una Tasa Interna de Retorno Económica y Financiera de 16% y 22%,
respectivamente.
El indicador social más importante del presente proyecto es el Producto – Capital,
el cual indica la rentabilidad del proyecto. Este indicador es de 3,10, es decir, por cada S/
1 invertido, se produce un valor agregado de S/ 3,10.

In addition, rice plays a leading role in Peruvian gastronomy and is present in many typical dishes. This product focuses on people who live in Lima Metropolitana, consume rice regularly and who are willing to consume instant food. The product is pre-cooked rice, which is microwaved in a dish with water for 3 minutes. The chosen flavor is rice with corn and the presentation is individual (125 grams) The plant will be located in Puente Piedra, in the north of Lima. It has a maximum anual production capacity of 509,27 tons and an area of 600 square meters. The production process includes activities such as weighing, sieving, washing, centrifuging, mixing, pre-cooked, dehydrated, cooled, bagged and embedded. The required investment is S/2 611 529.
